Patrick Taylor Wasson
Painter and stylistic illustrator living in Boston Massachusetts. My paintings are all based on landscapes, both imagined and drawn from places I've visited or experienced. My paintings tend to be larger in size and are done in either Oils or Acrylics on stretched canvas. I work on multiple paintings at a time using a glazed technique, which when developed over time gives the surface a rich layered and almost watercolor effect. My content is currently based on place. I have had the opportunity to visit and live in several places, having grown up in the Midwest, Indiana, I have since lived in London UK, Chicago, Boston, Phoenix, Seattle, and Melbourne Au, and now currently reside in Boston. Im a slow painter, as it is not my full time job, but would like to explore more figurative illustrative work in any new paintings. I am not currently taking commissions.
